Ragù, as it is correctly called in Italy, comes in many variations. Choosing the right pasta is a philosophy of its own. Adding extra seasoning or enjoying it just as it comes to the table is a matter of taste.

Product details

Bolognese

1x Wagyu Nero – Our ultimate gourmet product, seared over extra-high heat and especially intense.

1x Originale – Ragù alla Bolognese, the classic way with beef and pancetta.

1x Salsiccia – The southern Italian classic (pork), a little spicier.

1x Il Toscano – The Tuscan classic made with wild boar. Slowly braised with selected spices. 

Pasta

The traditionalists in Bologna may insist on tagliatelle (or other egg pasta), but all over Italy everyone has their favourite pasta – and so do you, we're sure!

We have egg pasta too, but for this set we've put together a range of durum wheat semolina pasta from our partner, a small manufactory in Abruzzo.

1x Tagliolini – Long pasta similar to Spaghetti, but slightly flatter. Picks up the sugo especially well as you twirl it.

1x Fettuccine – Long, wide pasta that is also "Rigate", meaning lightly ridged. Holds even more sugo and around Naples is also popular with fish.

1x Mezzi Rigatoni – Imagine a rigatoni cut in half, so it fits perfectly on a spoon. Not only great with ragù, but also a Roman classic for carbonara & co.

1x Pennoni – Penne, just a little bigger. For penne lovers, this shape is the next level!

1x Fusilli – The "little screw" everyone knows from childhood. A comfort pasta, and not just with ragù.

Spices

Umami for your pasta plate.

1x Aglio & Olio – Our tribute to lovers of this classic – for everyone who appreciates a delicate garlic note and a light, balanced heat. Coarse pieces of garlic and the fruity chilli skin create the perfect aroma without overpowering.

1x Rabiata – Brings just the right kick to your kitchen. Select chilli with small, hot flakes meets coarsely crushed pepper – as if fresh from the mill.

1x Toscano – The spice blend from our Il Toscano　– perfectly balanced for everyone who loves the fine flavours of this region.
